High flexion / high performance (hip & Knee Replacement Surgeries) allow patients to sit “The Indian Way”, but
The duration of achieve this status, very much depends on condition and mobility of joint before operation.
The design permits these extreme movements, but patient alone can achieve it by graded PT.
It is dangerous to sit on the ground every time, as “get up” movement may harm the joint in the long run. Rather sit on platform 22” above ground / stage.
It is better that you learn the ‘trick’ to get up, without harming the artificial joint from the physiotherapist.
